TLC Humane
Society took her fantastic Adoption and Disaster Response Truck
to Gonzales, Louisiana to work with the Humane
Society of the United States [HSUS] rescuing animals. HSUS was
excited to have this resource to aid their rescue effort if only for a
few days. On Saturday, September 17, 2005, the truck was a part of an
intensive care unit. The truck provided power and air conditioning
for the unit and cages for the animals treated. Updates>>

Ginger
is very sweet and needs a home. She is ready to be adopted.

Poor Ray.
He is terrified of just about everyone but he is not aggressive. A
precious dog in good health, he will need a very experienced and
patient adopter. Does that sound like you.

The weekend of June 4, 2005, TLC took 8 of its dogs and 6 puppies from PAWS,
the county operated shelter, to North Shore Animal League [NSAL] in
Long Island, NY. NSAL has been no-kill since 1944 and finds homes for
more animals every year than any other shelter in the world. More
about the truck>>
The
trip was designed to reduce the number of dogs being housed on the
site to comply with the Georgia Department of Agriculture
regulations.
North
Shore received the volunteers, president Carolyn Upton, board member
Ruth Ann Jones and volunteer Eric Upton, very graciously. They were
very pleased with the dogs, putting some of the adult dogs up for
adoption immediately. The puppies will receive routine preventive care
and be spayed or neutered before adoption.
